Handmade Exposed Spine Journal - Old School Tattoos
Teal cotton fabric covers printed with classic tattoo flash. Anchors and "Sailor" banners, a pin-up girl in a sailor cap, skull and crossbones with roses, a hand of aces, hearts, and diamonds. The spine is hand-sewn with variegated blue and purple thread in French link and barrel stitches, strung with gold and pink glass beads, with black glitter ribbon wrapped beneath the barrel stitches. Wine red fabric hinges run along the spine. Inside, you'll find marbled end papers swirling with red, pink, green, blue, and yellow.
96 pages of smooth white writing paper, left blank so you can write, sketch, or document the world wherever you end up. Small enough to carry and tough enough to travel.
No two books in the bindery are exactly alike, and once a book is gone it won't be made again. The book you see in the picture is the book you'll receive.
This Book Is Great For: Dry media like pen, pencil, charcoal, and fountain pens. This paper isn't a fan of getting wet and a splash will make the pages warp. If they get soaked, the paper itself will start to break down. The binding will hold up fine, but the pages won't stand a chance.
- Binding: Hybrid Coptic style with an exposed spine, made to lie flat with a case-style hinge for added durability.
- Dimensions: 5.5 × 8.5 inches (a tiny bit smaller than an A5)
- Paper: 65lbs white writing Paper
- Pages: 96
- Cover: Cotton Fabric
