Handmade Exposed Spine Mini Sketchbook - Zodiac Glyphs

Navy paper covers printed with zodiac symbols in silver foil, drawn like handwriting across a starry night sky. The spine is hand-sewn in kettle and chain stitches with blue variegated thread, then woven with pale blue thread in an X pattern and finished with iridescent black glass beads. Silver grommets reinforce each sewing station on the covers. Inside, you’ll find galaxy end papers with planet Earth floating in a deep blue nebula, framed by the zodiac paper.

144 pages of white sketch paper in a book about the size of your palm. Use it as a pocket sketchbook, a travel doodle book, or a tiny grimoire for your familiar. Small enough for a coat pocket, a purse, or a very organized altar.

No two books in the bindery are exactly alike, and once a book is gone it won’t be made again. The book you see in the picture is the book you’ll receive.

This Book Is Great For: Dry media like pen, pencil, charcoal, and fountain pens. Quick sketches, sigils, spell notes, tarot pulls, and keeping track of whatever your familiar knocked off the table today. This paper doesn't like getting wet and a splash will make the pages warp. Soaked, the paper itself will start to break down. The binding will hold up fine, but the pages won’t stand a chance.

• Binding: Traditional coptic stitch with an exposed spine, sewn through grommet-reinforced covers. The metal eyelets protect the board where the thread passes through, and the book lies completely flat.
